Welcome to FBC's Student Ministry page. Our mission is to help junior high and high school students believe in Christ, belong to His body, be trained in truth, and be strong in ministry
If you're new to FBC, we'd like to invite you to connect with a small group and gather with other 7th-12th grade students at our next event in The Hangar. Everyone's welcome! After you find a place to belong and be trained, we'll be encouraging you to find a place to serve others!
In addition to small groups and worship, we have some great events, retreats, and leadership training opportunities for junior high and high school students. To see a snapshot of everything coming up next, check out our church events calendar.
The New 52
We want to use DNOW 2016 as a launching point to inspire our students to greater holiness for the next 365 days. In order to do this we want to ask all students, parents, and leaders to take part in the New 52 initiative. This plan involves reading key passages in the Bible, memorizing scripture, and journaling about what you read. The awesome thing is that all of this can be done in the Replicate App.
We will also be studying passages during worship each Wednesday night that the students have read the preceding week.
We do want everyone to make a commitment to be a part of growing in Christ this year. Below you will find the outline of what the New 52 reading plan is, the reading plan itself, where to find the Replicate app and a place to sign up to be a part of the FBC Student ministry group on the Replicate app.
Worship @ The Hangar
Our Wednesday evening service is a large group worship experience for 7ththrough 12th grade students. It is a high energy outreach service intended to be a welcoming place for students and their friends. Services include band-driven worship, media, group games, and a great biblical message from the Student Pastor. Join us in The Hangar (3rd floor of education building) this Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.
SUNDAY MORNING Small Groups
Each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. we open The Hangar for Bible studies and fellowship. We invite you to attend a grade-specific class where a teaching team will talk students through relevant topics from a biblical perspective. This setting allows students to relate to and interact with other students and receive wise counsel from godly leaders.
